Moneygate at SiGMA World 2026: Four Days in Rome
Moneygate exhibited at SiGMA World 2026 in Rome, meeting businesses and partners from around the world over four days at Fiera Roma.
From 2 to 5 November 2026, Moneygate took part in SiGMA World at Fiera Roma, one of the largest international gatherings of the year. At Booth H8-8024 in Hall 8, our team met clients, partners and businesses looking for a regulated, reliable financial partner for their operations across borders.
For Moneygate, SiGMA World was a chance to bring our conversations to an international stage. As an Electronic Money Institution authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus, with a branch registered with the Bank of Greece, we work with businesses that operate across borders and need a financial partner that keeps pace with them.
An event at international scale
SiGMA World filled the halls of Fiera Roma with industry leaders, suppliers, technology providers and decision-makers from around the world. Over four days, the expo floor, conference stages and networking spaces brought together thousands of attendees, with a pace and energy that matched the scale of the event.
It was the right setting for Moneygate: a place where businesses from different markets meet in person, compare partners and plan their next stage of growth.
Meetings at Booth H8-8024
Moneygate was represented by its Founder and CEO, Nicolas Treppides, together with Executive Directors Demetris Theodoulou and Kyriacos Heracleous, and Demetra Petroyianni, Head of Internal Operations.
Throughout the event, the team held meetings with businesses, platforms and partners, talking through how Moneygate supports companies operating across borders: corporate accounts with Cypriot and Greek IBANs, SWIFT and SEPA payments, FX, and on- and off-ramp solutions, backed by a dedicated relationship manager from day one.
What we heard
A few themes came up again and again in our meetings:
- Speed without compromise. Businesses want faster access to financial services, but not at the expense of regulation or reliability.
- A partner that can keep up. Companies operating across borders need accounts, payments and support that work as quickly as they do.
- People still matter. Even in a digital industry, having a dedicated team to call makes a real difference.
Looking ahead
The conversations started in Rome continue. On 19 November, Moneygate sponsors the 27th NextGen Payments & RegTech Forum at the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol, where our COO, Panayiotis Theodosiou, joins the panel "Agentic Payments – The Companion to Agentic Commerce".
